Steelhead Trucking LLC has an experienced team that are committed to delivering cargo safely, efficiently, and on time. All Steelhead drivers have gone through a cargo securement and machinery securement course through D.O.T. University as well as FMCSA DOT Annual Inspection Training every year. Steelhead drivers also has experience in operating equipment. Two have Core 4 operator training with United Rentals. Steelhead’s heavy haul driver has more than 30 years’ experience operating nearly every piece of equipment. Steelhead trucks and drivers are equipped with ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices) to ensure trucking hours are compliant. The truck’s status is tracked with a GPS beacon, communicating the driver’s real-time location. Steelhead Trucking is licensed to operate across the United States. All trucks meet current EPA emissions guidelines, as well as California.

Steelhead Trucking prioritizes safety and efficiency throughout the transportation process. Steelhead has a flawless safety rating with FMCSA with no accidents or incidents. Every inspection encountered; Steelhead has passed with ease. Our drivers are well-trained, and our fleet is equipped with modern technology to monitor routes, weather conditions, and traffic patterns. We have an A rating with FMCSA and have no recorded infractions.

We are confident we can haul most loads with our equipment and drivers. If Steelhead Trucking cannot move every load, we would like to reserve the right to broker a deal with another 3rd party trucking company, at no additional expense to the client, to maintain deadlines required.

Steelhead is prepared to propose competitive pricing that aligns with your requirements. Options are:

Per-Mile Rate: A flat rate per mile that would cover the distance from load pick up to load drop off.
Hourly Billing: This is typically for local loads where traffic, loading and unloading times exceed proposed.
Fuel Surcharge: In the event of significant fuel cost escalation, we reserve the right to apply a reasonable fuel surcharge. This will be communicated transparently to you. 
Detention: Anything over 2 hours to load/unload time is subject additional hourly/daily rate.
Payment Terms: We propose a net 30 payment term. Invoices will be sent promptly after each successful delivery.
